Role Summary:
As Influencer Scout, you will be the front-line talent acquisition specialist in our creator ecosystem. You will deeply embed in the fitness/health creator landscape to identify rising stars, functional coaches and YouTube/Instagram/TikTok voices that align with our brand values. You’ll move them through a vetting & trial process, lead relationship outreach, and support selection of our major influencer partner(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover and build a pipeline of creator talent (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, niche fitness/functional coaches) aligned with our brand values and ambition for culture-building.
- Recruitment and Sourcing new potential partners.
Evaluate potential influencers (audience demographics, engagement rate, growth trajectory, content quality, brand-fit). - Initiate outreach, build rapport and send top creators to Head of Brand Ambassadors.
- Find top converting Macro Influencers - search and find up and coming creators to run ownership challenges.
- Collaborate with the Brand Experience team to design and manage the trial/accelerator model: creator challenge, content-house, etc.
- Maintain an influencer CRM/database: track outreach, conversations, trial results, performance metrics and pipeline status.
- Stay deeply embedded in creator ecosystem: monitor emerging platforms, format shifts, creator business models and competitor approaches.
- Provide reports to leadership: pipeline status, trial conversion, cost per signing, retention metrics, content outcomes.
- Assist in structuring long-term partnership contracts with incentives (equity, phantom equity or exit bonus) to secure alignment.
- Partner with social, content and brand teams to align creator storylines, campaign integrations, and live community events.
Required Qualifications & Profile:
- Interest in fitness and some experience creator scouting or talent acquisition in a digital/creator-ecosystem environment.
- Proven ability to build relationships within creator/fitness/social-media communities.
- Deep familiarity with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok ecosystems; adept with metrics like engagement, watch-time, growth, audience intent.
- Excellent communication and outreach skills for connecting with creators and negotiating early-stage partnerships.
- Highly organized, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Data-driven mindset: able to use growth and engagement metrics to prioritize and optimize.
- Keen eye for brand/voice fit and authenticity rather than just follower count.

30-60-90 Day KPIs:
Days 1-30:
- Build and submit a pipeline of at least 20 qualified creator prospects.
- Complete detailed profiles for at least 15 of those (audience, engagement, growth, content).
- Initiate outreach contact with 10+ shortlisted creators.
- Implement the influencer CRM/tracking system.
- Produce internal “ideal linchpin profile” briefing and secure leadership sign-off.
Days 31-60:
- Advance 5-6 creators into the trial/short-list phase.
- Negotiate preliminary terms for each and present for approval.
- Launch at least 1 creator trial (45-day “ownership challenge”).
- Monitor early metrics: posts created, engagement, referral traffic from creator content.
- Document and present “trial learnings” report to leadership.
Days 61-90:
- Select the primary “linchpin” influencer partner (target: 1) and finalize contract (including equity/exit incentive).
- Recruit with weekly lists of top influencers to partner with sent to Athlete Manager to onboard.
- Ensure first integrated content pieces launch (e.g., YouTube plug + Instagram story sequence).
- Achieve brand social follower uplift of 5-10% from influencer activity and referral traffic increase.
- Deliver dashboard summarizing pipeline conversion: 20 prospects → 6 trials → 1 linchpin; include recommendations for next 90 days.
